SEN Teaching Assistants required to work in a Special needs school in

Principal Education is seeking hard-working and enthusiastic educators to work as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in special needs schools across London. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on children’s academic and social development.

The role

As an LSA, you will support children with statemented special needs, working either 1:1 or in small groups. You will collaborate closely with teachers to create a safe and inclusive learning environment, providing consistency and support that fosters positive outcomes. These roles typically require full-time availability (Monday–Friday).

Ideal candidate:

Experienced working with children with SEN or behavioural challenges

Patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting diverse needs

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Able to remain calm under pressure and use restorative approaches

What you MUST demonstrate:

Right to work in the UK Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and behavioural challenges Patience, empathy, composure, and diligence Flexibility and adaptability Recent enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Overseas police clearance if lived abroad for 6+ months in last 5 years Based in London or within a commutable distance Pay and benefits:
