The Opportunity

A welcoming primary school in Trafford is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a long‑term basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
• Deliver targeted interventions and support EHCP outcomes
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• Previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience in a primary school
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
