Academics is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition for a student with additional needs in Canterbury.

The Role:
Deliver engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student's home or an agreed setting
Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
Build positive and supportive relationships
Create a safe, encouraging, and nurturing learning environment
Support a student with SEN through personalised learning strategies
We're looking for a SEN Tutor who has:
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
A teaching, tutoring, TA, HLTA, or SEN support background
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
The ability to plan and deliver engaging 1:1 tuitionWhether you're an experienced teacher looking for a more flexible role, a tutor seeking additional hours, or an SEN specialist wanting to provide meaningful 1:1 tuition, we'd love to hear from you.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
