SEND HLTA - Haringey

Hours: 6 hours per week Contract: Part-time, long-term A primary school in Haringey is looking for an experienced SEND HLTA to support the SENCO and provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs. Working Hours The 6 hours can be arranged as either: * 3 afternoons: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. * 2 mornings: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.

The Role

You will work closely with the SENCO to support pupils with SEND and help deliver effective interventions and learning support. The role will include: * Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs. * Leading targeted interventions. * Providing 1:1 and small-group support. * Supporting pupils with behaviour and communication needs. * Covering lessons independently when required. * Working closely with the SENCO and wider school team. * Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.
