SEND Teacher - Stockport & Tameside
Location: Stockport & Tameside
Salary: £160 - £230 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Temporary, Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities
Start Date: September
Milk Education is seeking dedicated and passionate SEND Teachers to work across a range of schools in Stockport and Tameside from September.
We're looking to connect with qualified teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and creating an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment.
Opportunities may be available across mainstream schools, specialist provisions and SEND settings , supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, SEMH, complex needs, communication difficulties and learning disabilities.
Whether you're an experienced SEND Teacher, a mainstream teacher with strong SEND experience or an ECT looking to develop your experience within specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.
We're open to speaking with teachers looking for long-term, short-term, part-time, full-time, temporary or permanent positions .
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
- Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning needs
- Create a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly
- Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and wider school staff
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and external professionals
- Contribute to individual learning plans and wider SEND provision
What We're Looking For
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching pupils with
