Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in ‘The Cove’, a SEND unit within our school. Established in September 2022, 'The Cove' is a valued part of our school community, catering to up to 8 children with SLCN/ASD. A high staff-to-pupil ratio allows for specialist teaching and an adapted curriculum.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside teachers and other professionals to support pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development. At Morecambe Bay, our aim is to do the very best for every child every day and we are seeking someone who shares this commitment.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers to plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities for children with SEND. They will support individuals and groups of pupils across the curriculum. The role involves supporting children's academic, social and emotional development while helping to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Level 2 English and Mathematics qualification or equivalent (GCSEs (Grades 4-9 or A-C)
