What we're looking for:
Recent experience supporting children or young people with SEND Confidence providing 1:1 and small-group support The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils A calm and patient approach when children are struggling Confidence adapting your support to the individual child Good understanding of boundaries, behaviour and safeguarding Reliability and consistency - particularly important for pupils who rely on familiar adults A relevant TA qualification is welcomed, but strong practical SEND experience will also be consideredThis could be a great opportunity if you've been working across supply or shorter-term SEND roles and would now like the stability of a long-term position where you can properly get to know the pupils and become part of the school team.
Premier Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be subject to our full registration and compliance procedures, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, we will also carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates. All candidates must be able to demonstrate their understanding of safeguarding and their responsibility to protect the welfare of children.
