SEND Teaching Assistant

The Role

• 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
• Supporting children with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour and complex needs
• Providing academic, emotional and behavioural support
• Delivering interventions and assisting with classroom activities
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience supporting autism and/or complex needs is desirable
• Patient, resilient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding
• Relevant TA, LSA or education experience is desirableLocation: North Liverpool
