Overview
Are you a caring, patient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential? Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and a range of additional needs.
- Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and engaged.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support.
- Encourage independence while promoting positive behaviour and emotional well‑being.
Qualifications
- Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.
- Is calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with pupils.
- Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Is committed to helping every child succeed.
