SEND Teaching Assistants Needed ASAP

Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children?

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a fantastic school located in the Lymington area.

The role involves supporting young people throughout the school day, either within a classroom setting or on a 1:1 basis, depending on their individual needs. This includes providing support to students with Autism and Mild Learning Difficulties, helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and engage positively in both learning and school life.

Role Details:

Start ASAP Full-time hours: 08.30 - 16.30 Monday - Thursday. Friday 08.30 - 16.00hrs Working 39 weeks a year (term time only role) Hourly rate: £14.66 per hour Experience advantageous but not essentialRole Requirements:

Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (we can accept Enhanced Child only) Must have Maths & English GCSE (grade C or level 4 or above) MUST DRIVEExperience and Training:

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS, NVQ, Cache or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Experience working with SEND students, particularly those with ASD A genuine interest in supporting children with ASD and complex learning needs Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided) To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional, child-related references Other
