About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to lead their account management efforts in the Birmingham, West Midlands, UK region. This role focuses on expanding business within existing client portfolios, deepening relationships, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling innovative software solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify and secure upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess needs and demonstrate value.
- Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client concerns and ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, support, product) to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Track account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in account management or a similar client-facing sales role, ideally in software or SaaS.
- Demonstrated success in growing existing accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of software solutions and their business applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
