Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and finalisation of all statutory financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

• Full professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
• Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting within a corporate setting.
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, plus a strong grasp of UK tax legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and complex Excel modeling.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a remote working environment.
