About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of complex aerospace systems , ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, and testing to validate performance, reliability, and safety criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
• Develop and manage system architecture documentation , including requirements, design specifications, and interface control documents.
• Conduct root cause analysis for system anomalies and implement effective corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical knowledge base and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in aerospace systems engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience with systems engineering methodologies, V-model, and MBSE principles.
• Proficiency in using simulation and modeling tools relevant to aerospace applications.
• Strong understanding of flight control systems , avionics, and aircraft structures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions.
