About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Aerospace Systems Integration Engineer to join their team, operating on a fully remote basis. This critical role will focus on the complex integration of various aerospace systems, ensuring they function harmoniously and meet performance requirements for cutting-edge aircraft platforms. You will play a key part in defining integration strategies, troubleshooting complex issues, and verifying system performance across diverse projects. This position offers the unique advantage of working from anywhere in the UK while contributing to significant advancements in aviation technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of complex aerospace systems, including avionic, electrical, and mechanical subsystems.
- Develop and execute system integration test plans and procedures.
- Analyze test data and performance metrics to identify and resolve integration challenges.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, software developers, and test teams across different locations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior integration engineers.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in aerospace systems engineering, with a strong focus on systems integration .
- Proven expertise in requirements management, system architecture, and interface definition.
- Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., MBSE, SysML, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote work environment.
