About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of crop production, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease control, and harvesting.
• Develop and implement annual operational plans and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Lead, train, and manage farm labor, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with labor laws.
• Manage the procurement and efficient use of agricultural inputs, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and food safety regulations.
• Monitor crop performance and market conditions, making data-driven decisions to optimize yield and quality.

Requirements

• Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Farm Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in agricultural operations management, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of crop cultivation techniques, soil science, and integrated pest management.
• Experience with farm machinery operation, maintenance, and budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding agricultural environment.
