Senior AI Engineer - MLOps

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer specializing in Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) to join their hybrid team in Wolverhampton . This role is vital for building, automating, and scaling our machine learning infrastructure and workflows. You will work at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and DevOps to ensure the reliable deployment, monitoring, and management of AI models in production. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
• Automate ML workflows, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and inference.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for ML models in production environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to streamline the ML development lifecycle.
• Optimize ML infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability using cloud-native technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development or DevOps, with at least 2 years focused on MLOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code principles.
