Senior AI Engineer

My leading eCommerce client is looking for a talented and motivated Senior AI Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge AI solutions, including Conversational AI, Agentic AI, and Voice AI technologies. This role will focus on building advanced chatbot and conversational AI systems, deploying AI agents across a range of business use cases, implementing sophisticated RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures, and developing production-grade voice AI solutions leveraging Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies.

This is a newly created role within a rapidly growing business that is investing heavily in AI innovation to enhance customer experience and drive business growth. A fantastic opportunity to help shape the organisation's AI strategy and capabilities.

The following skills and experience are essential:

• Strong experience working with LLM technologies and Generative AI applications.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing advanced RAG systems.
• Experience building Agentic AI solutions and AI‑driven automation workflows.
• Knowledge of Speech-to-Text (STT) and/or Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies.
• Strong software engineering background with excellent Python skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: Up to £100,000 + bonus + package

Location: London (excellent hybrid working options available)
