Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining the scalable, reliable infrastructure that powers their advanced artificial intelligence initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the systems that support AI model development, training, and deployment. Working in a collaborative, distributed environment, you will ensure our AI platforms are robust, efficient, and meet the evolving needs of our data science and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient AI/ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and AI applications.
- Implement MLOps best practices for model monitoring, versioning, and automated retraining.
- Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
- Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure, DevOps, or MLOps.
- Proven experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python , Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of machine learning workflows and common AI/ML frameworks.
