About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Platform Engineer to join their globally distributed, remote-first team. This role is crucial for building and maintaining the scalable, robust infrastructure that powers our AI and machine learning initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and managing the tools, platforms, and services that enable data scientists and engineers to build, train, and deploy models efficiently. Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain the core AI/ML infrastructure and platforms using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models and data science workflows.
Implement and automate tools for data management, model training, experimentation, and deployment (MLOps).
Ensure the scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of the AI platform.
Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and other platform teams to understand their needs and provide robust solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with a strong focus on ML infrastructure and MLOps.
Deep expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLflow, Kubeflow).
