About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Software Engineer to join their cutting-edge product development team, working remotely from Liverpool or surrounding areas. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated AI models and applications. This position requires a deep understanding of software engineering best practices combined with expertise in machine learning frameworks and algorithms. You will contribute to building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a focus on innovation and high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable AI/ML software solutions.
- Develop and optimize machine learning models and algorithms for various applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers to integrate AI capabilities into product platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to software engineering best practices.
- Implement MLOps principles for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AI systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with major AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
