About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Analytical Development Scientist to join their dynamic, fully remote pharmaceutical development team. This role is instrumental in developing, validating, and transferring robust analytical methods for novel drug substances and products. You will play a key part in ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of new pharmaceutical entities throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, KF, dissolution) for pharmaceutical drug substances and products.
- Execute method transfer activities to internal or external QC laboratories, ensuring successful implementation.
- Investigate and troubleshoot analytical method failures or out-of-specification results.
- Author and review method validation protocols, reports, and relevant sections of regulatory submissions (e.g., IND, NDA).
- Collaborate with formulation development, manufacturing, and quality control teams to support product development milestones.
- Stay current with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH) and industry best practices in analytical development .
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in analytical development within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Expertise in various analytical techniques, including chromatography (HPLC, UPLC, GC) and spectroscopy.
- Strong understanding of method validation principles and regulatory requirements (ICH, FDA, EMA).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Excellent technical writing and problem-solving skills.
