Senior Animator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior Animator to join their fully remote team, bringing characters and objects to life with dynamic and expressive motion. You will be responsible for creating high-quality animations that enhance gameplay and storytelling, working closely with the art and design teams to realize their creative vision. Key Responsibilities

• Animate characters, creatures, and props with a strong sense of weight, timing, and emotion.
• Collaborate with game designers and directors to understand animation requirements and integrate animations into the game engine.
• Create cinematic sequences and in-game animations that enhance storytelling and gameplay.
• Maintain animation quality and consistency across the project.
• Mentor junior animators and contribute to the development of animation best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in game animation or related fields.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation skills, including body mechanics, facial animation, and acting.
• Proficiency with industry-standard animation software such as Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max.
• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and animation integration.
• Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and posing.
