Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality character and environmental animations that align with project artistic direction and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with directors, concept artists, and other animators to achieve desired performances and storytelling.
- Animate complex scenes, ensuring fluidity, realism, and emotional depth.
- Review and provide constructive feedback on the work of other animators.
- Utilize animation software and tools to their fullest potential, optimizing workflows for efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of animation styles and techniques for Arts & Entertainment productions.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience as an Animator , with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 2D or 3D animation.
- Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Adobe Animate).
- A keen eye for timing, weight, movement, and character performance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and receive/provide constructive feedback.
- Understanding of animation principles and their application in storytelling.
- Experience working on projects within the Arts & Entertainment sector is preferred for this Belfast -based role.
