About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and technical documentation for major architectural projects, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and develop innovative design solutions that respond to complex challenges.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and building information models (BIM).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and planning policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering their professional development and design capabilities.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in architectural practice, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse project types.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and managing project timelines and budgets effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning legislation, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
