Senior Architectural Designer

About the Role

Our client seeks a talented and creative Senior Architectural Designer to join their practice in Reading . You will take a leading role in developing innovative design concepts and seeing them through to detailed design stages for a variety of exciting projects. This role involves significant client interaction and requires a strong design sensibility coupled with technical understanding. The hybrid work model ensures a balance between collaborative office work and the flexibility of remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design development process from concept to detailed design documentation.
• Produce high-quality architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to achieve design goals.
• Mentor junior design staff and contribute to the creative output of the team.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, project budgets, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect or highly experienced Architectural Designer with a strong design portfolio.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and visualization software.
• Excellent understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Experience in delivering complex projects from inception through to construction.
