About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join their prestigious practice in London . This role is pivotal in leading design conceptualization and development for a range of exciting new-build and refurbishment projects across commercial, residential, and cultural sectors. You will be instrumental in shaping the visual and functional aspects of future developments, working within a collaborative team environment that fosters innovation and design excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of architectural principles, and the ability to translate client briefs into compelling design solutions that meet both aesthetic and practical requirements, contributing significantly to the firm's reputation for delivering award-winning architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design process, developing innovative architectural solutions from initial brief through to detailed design.
- Produce high-quality architectural drawings, visualizations, and presentations using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.
- Conduct site analyses and research to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering a culture of design excellence and shared learning.
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively articulating the design vision and rationale.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven track record in leading the design of complex architectural projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams and clients.
