About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Architectural Designer to join their highly regarded practice in Oxford . This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of exciting projects, from conceptual design through to detailed development. You will be responsible for developing innovative design solutions, producing high-quality visualisations and drawings, and collaborating closely with project teams and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design portfolio, excellent technical skills, and a passion for creating inspiring and functional spaces that respond to their context, contributing to the unique architectural heritage and future of Oxford.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for assigned projects, from initial concept to detailed design stages.
• Develop creative and technically proficient architectural designs, producing high-quality drawings and presentations.
• Collaborate with architects, technologists, and consultants to ensure design integrity and buildability.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and present design proposals effectively.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, planning policies, and sustainability requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the practice.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design field.
• Significant experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skill.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD , SketchUp , and visualization software.
• A good understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
