Senior Architectural Technician (Remote)

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking architectural studio, is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Architectural Technician to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role is perfect for an individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for technical design excellence, who thrives in a flexible working environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and Building Information Models (BIM) for a range of exciting projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Working remotely means you'll have the autonomy to manage your workload effectively, contributing significantly to project success from anywhere in the United Kingdom .

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD and BIM software.
• Develop comprehensive construction specifications and schedules in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with current UK building regulations and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other project team members remotely.
• Conduct virtual site inspections or liaise with site teams to address technical queries and resolve issues.

Requirements

• HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning procedures, and construction best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
