About the Role
Our client, a reputable architectural firm in Liverpool , is looking to recruit a skilled Senior Architectural Technician . This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient technical delivery of a wide range of projects, from initial design development through to detailed construction information. You will work closely with architects and project managers, translating design concepts into precise technical drawings and specifications. The successful candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of construction processes, and a proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation using advanced software. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, construction information, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Conduct site inspections to verify design implementation and address technical queries.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with current building regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tender packages and respond to contractor queries during the construction phase.
- Mentor and support junior technicians within the team.
Requirements
- HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Architectural Technician, with a focus on technical detailing and construction documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Strong understanding of NBS or similar specification writing.
