About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Senior Architectural Technician to join their established practice on a fully remote basis. This role involves taking ownership of the technical detailing and drawing production for a range of exciting projects, ensuring that design intent is accurately translated into buildable solutions. You will be a key point of contact for technical queries, working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a remote role that offers autonomy and the chance to contribute significantly to impactful projects, while being based remotely from Southampton or elsewhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural drawings, construction information, and technical specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
Ensure all technical documentation complies with current UK building regulations and standards.
Collaborate with architects and consultants to resolve design and technical issues.
Conduct site inspections remotely where feasible or liaise with site teams for progress monitoring.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and designers.
Manage drawing revisions and maintain organised project files for easy access.

Requirements

Significant experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist.
Proficiency in Revit is essential; strong AutoCAD skills are also required.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines independently.
