About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their established team in Coventry . This role is crucial in translating architectural designs into comprehensive technical drawings and specifications, ensuring precision and compliance throughout the construction documentation phase. You will work closely with architects and project managers to deliver high-quality technical packages for a range of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules using CAD software.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project progression.
• Conduct site visits to verify information and monitor construction progress as required.
• Ensure all technical drawings and documentation comply with current building regulations and relevant legislation.
• Assist in the development and coordination of BIM models for projects.

Requirements

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; experience with BIM software is highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, incorporating hybrid work schedules.
