Salary Expectations: £40-46,000

An award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technician to join its growing Chelmsford team. The practice specialises in large-scale residential and development projects and is expanding its regional presence to deliver planning and technical projects for residential-led schemes across the UK.

The Candidate:

Significant architectural practice experience. Strong residential and masterplanning experience. Proven UK housing project experience. Experience with housebuilders and land promoters. Experience with South and East England planning authorities. Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology. Strong AutoCAD, Adobe and Microsoft Office skills. Creative approach with a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities

Deliver residential projects of varying scales. Produce planning packs and submissions. Develop visual layouts and presentation material. Interpret and apply client requirements. Prepare accurate architectural information. Support planning and technical project delivery. Apply knowledge of planning legislation and building regulations. Work collaboratively across the wider project team.
