About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This pivotal role involves taking projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical feasibility, compliance, and high-quality delivery. You will be instrumental in developing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers irrespective of geographical location. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical drawings , 3D models, and construction documentation using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all designs comply with building regulations, planning policies, and relevant UK construction standards .
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle via digital communication channels.
- Conduct site visits and technical surveys as required, adapting to a remote-first operational model.
- Manage and mentor junior technologists, providing guidance on technical detailing and problem-solving.
- Oversee the technical aspects of construction phases, ensuring adherence to design intent and specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations across the UK.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment .
- Relevant degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience managing projects from inception to handover.
