About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This pivotal role involves contributing to a variety of exciting projects, from conceptualization through to detailed construction documentation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the technical integrity and design quality of our architectural solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and materials, thriving in a collaborative virtual environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using Revit and other CAD software.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, planning policies, and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients in a virtual setting to refine design proposals and resolve technical challenges.
- Conduct site visits and surveys as required, utilising technology to facilitate remote assessment and reporting.
- Mentor junior architectural technologists, providing guidance on technical best practices and project delivery.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables efficiently within a remote working framework.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building codes, construction technologies, and materials science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective remote collaboration.
- A degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
