About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This pivotal role focuses on translating complex architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications suitable for construction. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards, working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and construction professionals from various locations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop intricate technical drawings, construction details, and specifications using Revit and other relevant software.
- Collaborate remotely with project architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to resolve design issues and coordinate services.
- Conduct site visits virtually or as required to assess progress and ensure compliance with design intent.
- Manage and coordinate the production of all technical documentation for planning applications and building regulations submissions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technologists and contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting standards and workflows.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of BIM principles.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with remote project stakeholders.
