Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team based in the heart of London . Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building regulations documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
• Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows to enhance project efficiency and collaboration.
• Mentor junior members of the technical team, providing guidance and support on complex design challenges.
• Review and assess the technical feasibility of new project proposals and contribute to tender submissions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role within an architectural practice.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of architectural design software and BIM principles.
• In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
• Experience in managing technical documentation and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent relevant degree.
