About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team based in the heart of London . This pivotal role involves contributing to the technical design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of exciting projects, from initial concept through to completion. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other consultants, ensuring that design intent is translated into buildable solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building regulations documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve technical queries, and ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
- Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows to enhance project efficiency and collaboration.
- Mentor junior members of the technical team, providing guidance and support on complex design challenges.
- Review and assess the technical feasibility of new project proposals and contribute to tender submissions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role within an architectural practice.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of architectural design software and BIM principles.
- In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and construction methods.
- Experience in managing technical documentation and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent relevant degree.
