About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Architectural Technologist to join their fully remote, forward-thinking team servicing projects across the UK. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and delivering high-quality technical documentation for a variety of architectural projects. This role is designed for an individual who excels in a remote environment, leveraging technology to maintain strong communication and project oversight. You will be a key contributor to the technical success of our designs, ensuring precision and compliance from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production of complex technical drawings, specifications, and construction details using advanced BIM software.
• Provide expert technical advice on materials, building systems, and construction methods.
• Ensure all technical documentation adheres to the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate virtually with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Mentor and support junior technologists, fostering technical excellence within the remote team.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a closely related discipline.
• Substantial experience (8+ years) as an Architectural Technologist, with a proven track record in technical design leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software (Revit) and other relevant technical drawing packages.
• Deep understanding of UK building regulations, standards, and construction processes.
• Exceptional technical problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
