About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team in Sheffield . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical design aspects of various projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and constructability. You will work closely with architects and project managers, providing expert technical guidance and documentation to support project delivery across the region. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using BIM and CAD software.
• Ensure all technical designs comply with current UK building regulations, British Standards, and health & safety legislation.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, M&E consultants, and other specialists to integrate services and systems.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving throughout the construction phase.
• Review and approve technical submittals from contractors and suppliers.
• Mentor junior architectural technologists and technicians, fostering their technical development.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Architectural Technologist within the UK construction industry.
• Proficiency in Revit (BIM) is essential, along with strong AutoCAD skills.
• In-depth knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and CDM regulations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
