Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and building information modeling (BIM) data for architectural projects.
• Lead the technical design process from concept through to construction, ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients in a virtual setting, facilitating clear communication and problem-solving.
• Undertake site visits and surveys as required, remotely coordinating with on-site personnel to ensure project quality and adherence to design.
• Mentor and support junior members of the architectural technology team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant architectural software, with a strong understanding of BIM workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines in a remote setting.
• Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
