You will take a leading role in producing detailed technical documentation and managing the technical aspects of projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical design packages, including detailed drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with relevant UK building regulations, planning policies, and technical standards.
- Liaise with design teams, engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the technical aspects of multiple projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct site investigations and technical problem-solving during the construction phase.
- Advise on material selection, construction methods, and sustainable building practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist or similar role.
- Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of BIM processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations, construction contracts, and procurement routes.
- Excellent technical detailing and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
