We are currently recruiting for a talented Senior Architectural Technologist in Fordingbridge to join an award-winning AJ Top 100 architectural practice with studios across the UK, combining national expertise with strong local knowledge.The Fordingbridge studio works across an exciting and varied portfolio, with particular experience across Historic & Conservation, Hotels & Hospitality, Community, Care & Senior Living as well as Residential projects. Project values typically range from £2m - £40m, providing the successful Senior Architectural Technologist with the opportunity to work across and take responsibility for a diverse range of technically challenging schemes.Based from a purpose-built studio on the edge of the New Forest, the Fordingbridge team currently consists of around 30 staff, with a long-term growth plan in place. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist with a strong technical background and proven experience running projects to take a key role within the team, with the potential to progress towards Associate level.The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will be responsible for the technical delivery and day-to-day running of projects, primarily from RIBA Stage 4 onwards. You will work closely with Architects, Technologists, Designers, Consultants, Contractors and Clients, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Senior Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
Located within a commutable distance of FordingbridgeMinimum 5 years' experience within the architectural industryProven experience running and delivering architectural projectsStrong experience working across RIBA Stage 4 onwardsStrong technical knowledge and experience within an architectural practiceGood proficiency with Revit is advantageous, with training available where requiredExperience producing detailed technical drawings and construction informationGood knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction technologyStrong communication, organisation and problem-solving skillsConfident character with the ability to take ownership of projects and communicate effectively with clients and colleaguesAbility to work independently and as part of a wider design teamExperience managing, mentoring or assisting junior consultants and technical team membersA proactive and progressive approach to career development
