About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in London . This role is pivotal in translating conceptual designs into detailed technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with building regulations and construction best practices. You will play a crucial role in the project lifecycle, from initial design development through to construction, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality architectural projects. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and produce detailed architectural drawings, BIM models , and technical documentation using industry-standard software.
- Ensure all designs and specifications comply with current UK building regulations, planning policies, and health and safety legislation.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, engineers, and specialist contractors to integrate their work into the overall project design.
- Manage and review technical information, respond to site queries, and assist in resolving design issues during the construction phase.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the approved design and specifications.
Requirements
- A relevant degree or HND in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist, preferably within a UK-based practice.
- Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software, along with AutoCAD and relevant Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, planning procedures, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
