About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team in the heart of London . This role is pivotal in translating complex design concepts into buildable, detailed technical drawings and specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring the technical feasibility and regulatory compliance of diverse architectural projects, from initial design stages through to construction oversight. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical drawings, BIM models , and construction documentation using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design issues and ensure project timelines are met.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect work, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Review and process contractor submittals, respond to site queries, and manage variations orders.
- Ensure all designs comply with current building regulations, standards, and relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical detailing and project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , Revit, and other relevant architectural software.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work stages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
