About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Produce comprehensive technical drawings, construction details, and specifications using advanced CAD and BIM software.
• Ensure all technical documentation adheres to current UK building regulations, planning legislation, and British Standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and ensure design intent is realised.
• Manage the technical documentation process for projects, from initial concept development through to site completion.
• Conduct site visits and virtual assessments to monitor construction progress and quality.
• Mentor junior technologists and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical workflows.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a thorough understanding of BIM Level 2 requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or a closely related field.
