Senior Architectural Technologist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their fully remote design team. You will play a crucial role in translating architectural designs into technically sound, buildable solutions, focusing on detailed drawings, specifications, and construction information. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of building construction, materials, and regulations, who can effectively contribute to projects from concept through to completion while working independently. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schedules for construction projects using CAD and BIM software.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical queries and ensure project compliance.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with current building regulations and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from design development to post-construction.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of BIM strategies and workflows.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
