About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to bring their expertise to their practice in Wolverhampton . This senior role involves taking ownership of the technical aspects of diverse architectural projects, ensuring designs are robust, compliant, and efficiently translated into construction-ready documentation. You will be a key technical resource, guiding project teams and liaising with contractors and consultants to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional build quality. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and detailing for a range of architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Develop comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and schedules for construction.
• Ensure designs meet all relevant building regulations, standards, and sustainability requirements.
• Manage and coordinate work with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architectural technicians and technologists.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or a closely related field.
• Significant experience (e.g., 6+ years) as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio of technical work.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and other relevant technical drawing packages.
• In-depth knowledge of UK building codes, construction methods, and materials science.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience working in Wolverhampton .
