Senior Asset Manager - Commercial Property

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee a key portfolio of commercial properties in the Reading area. This role is central to maximizing the value and performance of the company's real estate assets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies, managing leasing, optimizing operational efficiency, and reporting on portfolio performance to stakeholders. Your expertise will be vital in driving financial returns and ensuring the long-term success of the properties under your purview.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies to enhance property value and financial returns.
• Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, tenant relations, property management, and maintenance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and performance reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for the assigned asset portfolio.
• Analyse market conditions and trends to inform strategic decisions regarding acquisitions, dispositions, and capital expenditure.
• Liaise with property managers, leasing agents, and external stakeholders to ensure optimal asset performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing a property portfolio.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Excellent knowledge of leasing, property operations, and market dynamics.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
