Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Associate specializing in Commercial Litigation to join their esteemed legal practice in Plymouth . This role presents an excellent opportunity to handle significant and complex disputes, manage a team of legal professionals, and contribute to the strategic direction of the litigation department. You will provide high-level advice to a diverse client base, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of high-value and complex commercial disputes through all stages of litigation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Advise clients on risk assessment, dispute resolution strategies, and potential outcomes.
- Draft pleadings, applications, and other court documents with precision.
- Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and paralegals within the litigation team.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including client relationship management and marketing initiatives in the Plymouth area.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
- Minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated expertise in various forms of dispute resolution and litigation procedures.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and lead a team effectively.
- Comfortable working within a structured hybrid work arrangement.
