Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of high-value and complex commercial disputes through all stages of litigation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Advise clients on risk assessment, dispute resolution strategies, and potential outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, applications, and other court documents with precision.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and paralegals within the litigation team.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including client relationship management and marketing initiatives in the Plymouth area.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
• Minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated expertise in various forms of dispute resolution and litigation procedures.
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and lead a team effectively.
