Job Title: Senior AV Installation Engineer

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

Location: London and surrounding areas (Home Counties)

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead commercial AV installation projects from first fix through to final handover, ensuring every system is installed, tested, commissioned and delivered to the highest standard.
• Lead installation teams on customer sites across the UK.
• Deliver structured cabling, rack builds, equipment installation and system integration.
• Test, fault‑find and commission AV systems.
• Work closely with project managers and technical designers to ensure projects are delivered exactly as specified.
• Act as the key point of contact for clients, contractors and site teams.
• Maintain accurate installation records and quality documentation.
• Conduct site quality checks and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Support, coach and develop junior engineers and apprentices.
• Contribute to service, maintenance and remedial works when required.

You are technically strong, calm under pressure, and confident making decisions on site. You understand that great AV installations are about communication, leadership and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience installing commercial AV systems.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and integration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills.
• Experience leading engineers on‑site.
• A full UK driving licence.
• SSSTS certification.

Bonus Points If You Have

• CTS or CTS‑I certification.
• Experience delivering large, multi‑room or high‑profile AV projects.
• Electrical, electronic or network engineering training.
