Senior Auditor

Senior Auditor Location: Solihull Contract: Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE Start Date: ASAP

Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading independent accountancy firm in the West Midlands for a Senior Auditor to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm with an expanding client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting statutory audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, collaborating with senior team members to ensure the effective delivery of audit engagements.
• Working closely with clients to collect essential documentation and deliver meaningful financial performance insights.
• Managing a range of financial functions, including forecasting, cash flow analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Support the preparation of audit reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes and controls.

Candidate Criteria

• At least 5 years’ experience working in audits in an accountancy practice, with accounting qualifications being a benefit.
• Ability to hit the ground running and adapt to new teams and clients,
• Ability to regularly travel to office and client bases.
• Up to date knowledge, and eagerness to stay informed of relevant changes in legislation and accounting standards.
